Message from the founders:

Biotech tropicana, Inc is an innovation-oriented Biotech Company, dedicated to promoting, applying and, developing affordable alternative technologies for the developing world.

Our community development-oriented for-profit business strategy relied on three key structural components of Biotech tropicana, Inc Group:

a)                A NOT FOR PROFIT UNIT based in Parakou, Benin (West Africa), that focuses on explorations of technology needs of resource-poor communities, data gathering, and solution designs in the form of models.(incorporation process completed. Benin Government authorization N 2006/014/PDBA/SG/SAG-DASCRS dated March 23rd 2006. Published in Benin Government Official Journal dated May 15^th 2006 at page 400. Registered with the Benin Department of Justice, N001/08, dated January 08, 2008, City Court of Kandi, Kandi, Benin )

b)                       A FOR PROFIT UNIT in the United States of America, that focuses on technology conception and development in collaboration with Academics and the Private Sector.  (incorporation in process)

c)                        A NOT FOR PROFIT UNIT in the United States of America that focuses on technology distribution and negotiations with the Public Sector, the potential buyer of our affordable alternative technologies, for inclusion in their assistance packages for the developing world. (incorporation in process )

Because we do receive funding from private foundations and the public sector for the development of our affordable alternative technologies, we do not speculate on price. We fix our prices through negotiations with our funders, to ensure that our products reached the targeted poor communities, we are trying to help.

We believe in equality of opportunity, not in communism. Our business is guided by the principles of compassionate capitalism. Our business philosophy commends us never to help the poor. We help poor people help themselves. We use science and technology as tools to challenge poverty.
