       SMARTvalueCHAINS SUMMARY

Using the Global Value Chains models as proposed by the United Nations Task Force on Innovation, Science, and Technology (see report at page 128), we previously developed a ." micro" corporate focused SMARTvalueCHAIN as applied to a technology distribution model with added "specific" global chains linkages (SMARThivGLOBALmos) to increase acceptance of our HIV monitoring systems in the developed  world corporate community. Simulations  ( in progress at Biotech tropicana,Inc) suggest SMARThivGLOBALmos could receive a high acceptance by the United States Biotech Corporate community.

In SMARTvalueCHAINS, we are applying the same principles to develop a "medium" country focused  model of SMARTvalueCHAIN. Foreign aid being the biggest source of revenue for many countries in the developing world, we call our medium  model, an   "Aid value Chain". Simulations (in progress at Biotech tropicana,Inc)  using Benin Republic specific numbers  indicated the United States of America as the biggest Aid donor to Benin. Interestingly, our model eliminates Benin Republic as the recipient of its own received aid money. we are working our models to establish who is the real beneficiary of the aid to Benin. (under development for publication).

A third version of SMARTvalueCHAIN is a macro "Aid Value Chain" , aiming to model and simulate linkages in a regional west african economy focused SMARTvalueCHAIN.
